We are currently seeking a Climbing Wall Designer-AutoCAD-Project Coordinator-Sales Assistant to oversee new climbing wall project designs and assist in the day to day project coordination of our climbing wall installations.  Additionally, this includes participation in the sales process.

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, driven, capable of managing several projects simultaneously, and have solid CAD design and Revit experience as well as experience with new commercial construction projects.  They will be involved in all phases of the project life cycle.  Additionally, they will provide quality customer service to our potential, new, and existing clients. Climbing experience on various types of climbing walls, surfaces, and locations, along with knowledge of the Outdoor Recreational Industry is necessary.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with the Sales and Project Management Teams to create and prepare CAD designs, 3D renderings, and virtual reality demonstrations for climbing wall project proposals, presentations, and construction applications.
  • Participate in marketing ideas and planning with the Marketing Team.
  • Assist and participate in pre-construction design meetings, conference calls, and communications with clients.
  • Handle incoming phone requests, e-mails, and client questions related to climbing wall sales and construction projects.
  • Assist with various project coordination tasks (i.e. preparing construction shop drawings, cut sheets, sourcing materials, equipment, etc.)
  • Recommend changes in products, product development, new technologies, and current processes by evaluating project results and on-site issues.
  • Monitor ongoing projects, have an awareness of competition, research innovation, and gather current information on climbing wall design, materials, costs, labor, etc.
  • Represent Nicros and Nicros products at industry tradeshows.
  • Visit job sites, projects, and clients periodically. (Out of the office travel is required, but is less than 10% of employee expectations)
  • Other jobs around the office, in the shop, or on site as needed.

Qualifications:

  • College Degree (minimum Associate Degree preferred)
  • 2 or more years of Drafting, Design, Construction Experience, or a Degree in Architecture
  • Experience with AutoCAD 2015, Revit 2015, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office Products
  • Dynamic, motivated, driven, professional, and articulate
  • Climbing Experience on Various Artificial Climbing Walls (preferred)

Compensation:

Salary will be determined by experience, knowledge of the climbing industry, and related skills

We are currently seeking a Product Tour Guide (Sales Director) for our climbing walls, handholds, landing surfaces, training products & procedures, plus the excellent services we offer to our customers. The person who meets the requirements for this position will promote and increase the sales of our products and services.

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, driven, and have solid sales experience as well as experience with initiating new contacts and managing established accounts.  They will be working the entire sales and project cycle and will be expected to build long term relationships with clients through quality customer service. Climbing experience on artificial walls and knowledge of the Outdoor Recreational Industry is preferred.

Job expectations include, but are not limited to:

  • Service existing accounts, handle incoming orders, establish new accounts by planning and responding to incoming inquiries of potential customers.
  • Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of customer base and maximizing sales.
  • Manage important cross team communication by reporting activity and results through the accurate compilation and submission of reports, such as weekly call reports, sales reports, etc.
  • Enter orders and take responsibility for order entry accuracy and processing.
  • Resolve customer complaints, investigate problems, develop solutions and make recommendations to management, the design team, and manufacturing for improvement.
  • Provide input for new products, methods, procedures, and marketing approaches through market research and customer interaction.
  • Recommend appropriate changes in products, service, price, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Team to create new image, branding, sales strategies, marketing campaigns, digital media designs, print collateral, and product information.
  • Monitor competition, research opportunities, and gather current marketplace information on pricing, products, innovations, delivery schedules, merchandizing techniques, web presence, social media, etc.
  • Represent Nicros and Nicros products at industry tradeshows.
  • Visit clients periodically. (Out of the office travel is less than 10% of employee time expectations)
  • Other jobs around the office, in the shop, or on site as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Dynamic, personable, motivated, driven, professional, and articulate
  • College Degree (minimum Associate Degree preferred)
  • 2 or more years of Sales Experience or the appropriate equivalent
  • Experience with accounting software, a sales force CRM, and MS Office Products (preferred)
  • Climbing Experience (preferred)
