Nicros has three main categories of custom climbing wall installations to meet every design preference and climbing application: A.R.T.Wall™, a realistic rock wall system; WestCoast™ and 5.15™ walls using our patented FrameFree™ technology, plywood panels, and a textured concrete overlay; and our newest wall system, NicroLite™, which is sleek and customizable by design.

Unlike buying premade wall panels, custom climbing walls can be manufactured to fit each customer’s exact needs and design. Our quoting process includes planning, contract review, and design development.

During the planning and quote phase Nicros considers factors such as programming needs, operations, safety requirements, budget, space constraints, a profile of the intended customer base, climbing wall accessories such as landing surfaces and anchor types, accessibility, engineering standards, and maintenance access. Then, during the contract phase we work alongside a General Contractor as necessary to address permitting needs, licensure, insurance reviews, special bonds, and any special issues such as seismic zones or wind loads for outdoor walls in order to deliver a specifications documents to go alongside the final contract and project details. Once all initial project details are finished and the contract is finalized, the design phase begins with CAD drawings which, once approved by the customer or architect, are the final step before scheduling, site preparation, and construction begins!
